May 23-27:  LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL!
This week is BEACH WEEK in Fourth Grade!  For math, science, language, and history we will be doing fun, ocean-related activities!
For Bible, we are finishing up Paul's Missionary Journeys.

We are reading,  Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, a fun way to end the school year!

Dear Fourth Graders,                                                                                                                                                                  May 2022
We made it!  You have worked diligently through all the changes!  Thank you for being an awesome fourth grade class.  I learned so much from you!  I love your love for animals, reading, and outdoor sports.  You will go on to do great things! (98 and ¾ percent guaranteed- Dr. Seuss)
Thinking about our fourth-grade novels... be loyal like Winn-Dixie, kind like Lucy and fierce like Peter. Be optimistic like Charlie and brave like Delphy.  Be smart like Homer.  But don’t be like Fudge; he annoys everyone. As you move into fifth grade- don’t treat your teacher like Mark treated Mr. Maxwell at the beginning of the novel.  Decide to give it your best shot from the very first day.
I love you!  Enjoy your summer off.  Now you know why I became a teacher, right?  3 months off every year... Just kidding.  It was because I knew you needed me.
                                                                                        Lots of Love,
                                                                                      Mrs. Herendeen
                                                                                      Philippians 4:4
